(First some back ground.) I was horrified when I realized that the sentence:
"the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog" actually repeats some letters;
(yes compulsive/obsessive personality disorder).So the problem is :
"What is the greatest number of non-repeating alphabetic characters (case insensitive) in a gramatically correct English sentence."
